About Me

I love being a celebrant! It would be my privilege and honour to fulfil your wishes on your important occasion.

Having trained with The International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC) - I am part of a unique, global community of celebrants who support one another in their professional practice.

I am based in Wiltshire and also cover Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire, however, I would consider travelling beyond these areas.

Previous to arriving at celebrancy, I had a long and successful career in teaching at primary level. I was a school leader, an advocate of lifelong learning for all and a trusted partner for pupils, teachers and families. Being a teacher has provided me with invaluable skills such as empathy, diplomacy and understanding that I make use of each and every day, especially through my celebrant work.

Being invited to work with couples, families or individuals at such significant milestones in their lives is so personally rewarding for me. It brings me a sense of great joy and wellbeing in knowing that I have assisted you, in a small way, on your life journey.

Whether you need me to curate a bespoke and personalised wedding, vow renewal, funeral or naming ceremony, you will always have my unwavering attention to detail. I will share in your tales of good humour, cherished sentiment and those unforgettable stories that can bring joy or a tear to the eye.

I am an accomplished public speaker and one of my core values is to enable those around me to be at ease and to experience the emotions of the occasion. I am confident and relatable and strive to do the best in all situations and apply this to every ceremony I create. I will treat you with integrity and commitment. It would be my true honour to create the perfect ceremony for you.

How I work with you.

Once you have made contact with me, we will discuss your needs and the type of the ceremony that would suit you best, along with the dates and the general feel of how you wish your ceremony to play out. We will make the day as grand or as subtle as you need it to be.

If, after the initial consultation, we agree to work together, we will arrange to meet to discuss the finer details for the ceremony you want. I much prefer to meet in person but recognise that on occasion, we may need to meet online.
