Why the Hummingbird?

 

I chose the hummingbird to be my emblem, not only because of its beauty but also because of the symbolism it represents.

The humming bird is known as a symbol of:

• the enjoyment of life,

• optimism and playfulness,

• the ability to respond quickly,

• tireless resilience,

• the lifting of negativity,

• being mindful and present.

 

I feel that as a celebrant I can offer these qualities. I hope you can also draw from them and, hopefully, the hummingbird can also support you in creating the perfect ceremony, for you.
